Meet the people who dreamed the movement into existence.

Anna Sekulow

Anna Sekulow is the Founder and Executive Director of One Life Movement. Anna is in charge of One Life Movement's overall strategy in coordination with the team in Mumbai.

In addition to One Life Movement, Anna continues her work at the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) on issues relating to religious freedom, with a special focus on the persecuted Church. Anna has met with government and religious leaders to encourage participation in the ACLJ’s domestic and international causes, cases, and grassroots campaigns.

Her work with ACLJ has taken her to Brazil, where she spoke at churches and worked on mobilizing the Christian community on behalf of the persecuted. She has spent time in Africa providing meals for orphans in Zimbabwe and visited the underprivileged children in the slums of Mumbai. As a result of the trip, where she met One Life Movement’s Program Director Sanjay Solomon, Anna began developing a creative way to assist the children in the slums.

Prior to her work at the ACLJ, Anna was a political consultant in Washington, D.C., and attended the George Washington University where she majored in Political Science and played varsity soccer.

Sanjay and Urvashi Solomon

Urvashi and Sanjay Solomon provide leadership to the One Life Movement in India. In the year 2006 they both gave up their careers to serve the poor and the marginalized section of society. They began with helping the children in a slum in Mumbai do their studies and in that they found their peace and joy. Ever since 'Educate and Empower' has been their mission mantra. What started as a small math and english class serving twenty children slowly spread all over the city and is now serving more than 500 children in Mumbai and a few other states of India.

Both Sanjay and Urvashi are mentors to many and they are continually investing in young leaders who have a heart for the marginalized.

Apart from this Sanjay also leads a small church in Mumbai and serves with "Samaritan's Purse" as their International Field Representative for South Asia.
